Keep On Keeping On!

I’m not sure who originally came up with the saying, “Keep On Keeping On,” but the first time I heard it was in Plano, Texas, at a lunch networking group called PowerLunch. The speaker was John West, who happened to be a friend of Zig Ziglar. I was working for Mr. Ziglar at the time, and each week a large group from the company would attend this lunch to hear some amazing speakers.
John hosted the lunch and he always ended each week by saying, “Keep On Keeping On!”
I love that saying because even though it’s simple, it means so much. Life is tough, and from our limited perspective, it may not seem fair. Bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people. It doesn’t seem fair, but it’s life.
If we dwell on everything that’s wrong—if we keep finding flaws—then how can we ever start winning in life? It takes effort, determination, and persistence to focus on the good.
You’re worth it and deserve the best. You deserve to have your dreams come true. You must commit, you must believe, and you must execute your goals. You must “Keep On Keeping On.”
